Julie Pippert is a mom of two girls (currently 8 and 5) who lives in Texas near the coast. She was raised by a health conscious mother who spent years trying to convince her that oranges were candy. Although she never quite bought that, she did buy into the idea of healthy choices.  She began struggling with healthy choices in her 30s when she was juggling work, home, family and two young children. That’s also when she began struggling with health problems. Now that she’s entering her 40s, she’s determined to get back to her healthy roots with daily exercise, healthy eating, skin protection, and regular health checks. She’s got the exercise down, so now it’s on to the rest. In addition to supporting the fabulous Choose You campaign and blog, Julie is an Editor at TheMotherhood.com, contributes a monthly parenting column for Savvy Source, analyzes current events and politics at MOMocrats, and runs her own communications business, Artful Media Group, Inc.
